Sundae's Best

Your sweet tooth is aching for for sugar but you're simply tired of the same chocolate, cookies and creme, vanilla, and strawberry flavors? We've got an answer! Sundae’s Best is a little ice cream cart located which you can find at the first floor of Newpoint Mall in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Sundae’s Best is well-known for its trendy flavors, currently it serves Blueberry Grahams and Mango Grahams. Their menu changes based on the current trend in fact, they started serving black ice cream back when everyone was raving about it! It's a metropolitan-style sundae that's just within your reach. But, the business really had a boost when it started serving Mango Grahams, especially during the period when it became a hype to Millennials. This ice cream is highly popular to the Millennial market especially to students, since a university is located near the mall. Even adults are found purchasing from the cart! The ice cream business is run by Mrs. Charlene Joyce Lim-Manabat.

This is one of the accounts I freelanced for Mrs. Charlene (aside from Charlene Clothing Co) but when I started writing for Mrs. Charlene in December, Sundae's Best didn't have any social media accounts or pages then. When we were tasked to find a local business for our Public Relations Programming Planning and Building class, I pitched Sundae's Best to my team and I explained how it lacked in social media presence. We then created an integrated marketing communications (IMC) plan for Sundae's Best which focuses on Social Media marketing.

Our very first post on our Facebook page was a short Insider-inspired video, that basically introduces the business.

This was followed by photos that we shot and layouted.

"Summer in a Cup" was the overall theme for our marketing materials (i.e. photos, videos, and posters). Each of our outputs represent a warm and sunny vibe, meanwhile our captions portrayed different scenarios that would attract social media users.
