For a time, streetwear became such a trend in our locality that everyone was eager to try it out. When everyone’s Instagram feeds were filled with the fashion from the street, we took advantage of this trend and came forth our brainchild---Besté.
Besté, a fresh accessory made out of PVC, vinyl, and leather, aims to be a new flavor to the fashion trend in Pampanga. Besté is a hand made bag product produced as pouches in different sizes and styles. Besté is a handy accessory that can be brought anywhere; she is your stylish bestfriend for any occasion, just as the name suggests.

Besté is a product output that we had to create, produce, and sell for our Communication Entrepreneurship class. Our task was to come up with a unique product that we'll actually create and sell.
Bags made out of PVC/plastic is often perceived as those often used by fast food employees, what they don’t know, however, is it actually started as a trend by a well-known fashion brand years back. The vision of our team is re-create the local’s perception with PVC bags into a new fashion trend in Pampanga.
For the marketing plan of Besté, we created a Facebook page and an Instagram account to advertise the bags. We also took pre-orders from both accounts. Our customers would then claim their orders during our Bazaar at Newpoint Mall, Angeles City. As the team’s copywriter my task was to come up with millennial but on-brand headlines and captions for our posts.
Here are some of my work:
